Cultural historian Gavin Plumley considers how we interact with Wells Cathedral as both a place of worship and a work of art, in a talk featuring newly commissioned photographs by Lynnsey Kelly. Charting this 'most poetic of English Cathedrals’, from the experience of medieval pilgrims to contemporary secular society,  Gavin looks at nearly 850 years of architecture and artistry, gazing up at the Cathedral's west end, as well as finding solace in its smallest chapel.
