Opera Scenes

Specialist singers from Wells Cathedral School's vocal department, many of whom are about to embark on study at this country's leading music colleges, present an evening of operatic highlights. Directed by Elizabeth Donovan, the pupils will present staged performances with chamber orchestra of a number of excerpts from favourite operas by Mozart, Gluck and Humperdinck. Following the success of last year's triumphant Mozart Opera Gala, this promises to be another unmissable evening of drama, entertainment and glorious music-making.
